Ego Faylona is a professional ux/ui designer from Manila, Philippines. Born to two fine arts majors in 1983, he has been exposed to art in nearly all its forms for as long as he can remember. Despite his parents’ incessant nagging to go down the starving artist route, he took up Computer Science in university and later found a way to reconcile his creative skills with his passion for digital media.

His first clients were his university classmates, who bought him lunch and the occasional beer in exchange for his original designs. After university, Ego worked for almost three years at The Design People Inc., where he made sophisticated, customized websites for a wide range of clients. He later moved on to Yellowasp, where he handled various design projects for some of the Philippines' largest companies. After a short stint, he relocated to Singapore to become a Senior Designer for Aleph, a design studio that caters mostly to financial institutions and the like.

Now based in San Francisco, CA, Ego is currently working at Identified as a UX/UI Designer. Outside work, he can be found aimlessly walking around town, taking photographs, practicing a riff or two on his guitar, or whipping up a mean batch of red curry in the kitchen.

He also has a peculiar affinity for anything involving peanut butter. And bacon. Yes.
